How To Make Your Own Lipstick Palette and Apply Your Own Lipstick...
They say your choice of lipstick says a thousand words, about your personality. The beauty of lipstick is that it is SO personal to you. There are no rules when it comes to getting creative with what tones and shades you like to wear. However there are a few rules when applying, knowing these simple tips can make you feel a lot more confident about the colours you choose going forward and can guarantee your lips to stay on throughout the whole day.
You will need:
A lip pencil ( I recommend Illamasqua Lip Kit )
12 individual lipsticks of your choice - you can use cheaper lipsticks from a supermarket as they are going to be melted down.
A lipgloss (if you like the glossy look to finish) (Maybelline Lifter Gloss)
A lip brush ( this can be found in your InHerkit brush set)
I love a good lip palette and choose to make my own as a professional. Here is my fun video on how you can make your own lip palette. This not only means you can achieve a sexy palette completely bespoke to you but means you can mix the colours too. If you haven’t got the time or patience to make your own palette this Barry M Nude palette is beyond gorgeous!
I have designed a super fun printable PDF that you can download and learn how to apply lipstick for your lip shape.
Once you have the correct products and tools in your kit your ready to practice! I recommend to use red lipstick to practice with as you can clearly see any mistakes and if you can get red lipstick right you can use any colour confidently! Take a look at my exclusive how to video demonstrating how to apply on yourself.
