How To Apply Lashes.. As a Professional MUA..
Applying lashes is something most people struggle with and im not going to lie it does take practice. Good quality lashes are recommended as poor quality lashes can be flimsy and be hard to work with and apply. Also the glue you use is paramount to ease of applying and the staying power of your lashes. I recommend Duo Adhesive, this is surgical glue but does contain latex so make sure your not allergic. If so there is a latex free version here.
I use either Eyelure or Illamasqua lashes which I love as they fit perfect to the eye shape making them comfortable and easy to apply.Below is a downloadable and fully printable pdf.
The biggest tip I can give when it comes to applying lashes is making sure there is enough glue to make them stick and last, but not so much that they take forever to dry. The most important thing is to wait at least 60 seconds after applying the glue before actually applying onto the eye, we all know when doing a long column of clients every seconds counts so I like to use this nifty little fan to speed everything up, you can also use this whilst its on the eye to help it settle. This can also be amazing for cooling down a stressed out bride and helps relax your clients.

They say your choice of lipstick says a thousand words, about your personality. The beauty of lipstick is that it is SO personal to you. There are no rules when it comes to getting creative with what tones and shades you like to wear. However there are a few rules when applying, knowing these simple tips can make you feel a lot more confident about the colours you choose going forward and can guarantee your lips to stay on throughout the whole day.
You will need:
A lip pencil ( I recommend Illamasqua Lip Kit )
A lipstick or lip palette of you choice (Revolution - Nude Lipstick)
A lipgloss (if you like the glossy look to finish) (Maybelline Lifter Gloss)
A lip brush ( this can be found in your InHerkit brush set)

How To Disguise Dark Circles - on every client

I hope your enjoying the content I know Ive loved every second of filming and putting it all together. So here is my first video on how to disguise those dreaded dark circles.
Dark circles can happen to anyone of any age, however, there are factors that contribute to them, this can be tiredness, hereditary, or good old fashioned dehydration. Sounds obvious but drinking plenty of water is something we can forget on a daily basis but it can make a big difference.
The truth is the skin is scientifically thinner under the eyes, in fact the skin under the eyes is one of the thinnest areas of the body, this causes blood vessels to show a lot easier.
Supplements can be used to help the skin glow, I recommend

Illamasqua Skin Base Concealer - You'll need to find your shade in this, I like to go a shade lighter for under eyes as it brightens and softens the whole face.
Nars Soft Matte Concealer - If you want to make your own professional palette I use the Nars pot concealer, this is easy to get out and then decant into your very own palette.
Illamasqua Pressed Powder - Powder stops any oily patches from forming and helps keep your concealer in place.
So first of all you will need:
A concealer I recommend Illamasqua Skin Base Concealer for individual concealer - I think its a great idea to create your own palette which is custom to your main clientele, this can be certain brands and colours so its easy and hygienic when working with the public. Its easier to use concealers from a pot to make the palette, I love the Nars Soft Matte Concealer.
