I get asked a lot about curly hair and the truth is curly hair needs plenty of moisture and less is more when it comes to products and styling. A good haircut is paramount for the way it sits like any hair type and the weight has to be in all the right places. ‘The Curly Girl Method’ after so much research finally has my seal of approval and I feel done right the method and the correct products can definitely improve your hair and curls.

I suggest with curly and wavy hair to use sulphate free products and preferably staying away from any products with sulphate, this dries the hair out and flattens curls over time leaving your with flat half hearted curls. All Products listed below are sulphate free meaning they are safe to use when doing the curly girl method too.

Heat isn’t recommended for curly hair as air drying is best to keep those curls natural, however sometimes your curls can need a helping hand.

On a low heat low speed a diffuser can be used.
