    Hello from Ibiza!

Im currently on the most beautiful trip with my daughter and thought why not write a blog post and let you know everything we've been upto and all the exciting things we have planned over the next few months both professionally and personally! Im beginning my mission to inspire women to live authentically, enjoy the beautiful moments and look super cute while doing it! As we all know hair and beauty isn't just on the outside, it's how we feel about ourselves, how we decide to show up to the world, is usually how we feel on the inside. Its trying a new lipstick shade and feeling your smile get brighter, its washing and blowdrying your own hair and not looking like Monica out of friends! haha! The importance of having a few key tips, products and tools to make this easier for you to do will be overall life changing.

Be sure to take a look at my easy to view travel beauty checklist, simply download upon purchase (just £5) and print out ready to check everything you need for your travels.

First things first! Obviously when travelling we’re limited on the amount we can take so its super important to get the items that are most important to you and that are going to make getting a feeling cute achievable when your away. Have you ever got on holiday and realised your whole suitcase is full to the brim. but you still feel like your missing things? Effective packing is paramount to feeling your best while away and that’s where my Travel Beauty Checklist comes in so handy! Here are a few of the ideas of items you absolutely should include, some are suitable to put in hand luggage too so under the 100ml limit for those short, hang luggage only city breaks and trips.

    Dry Shampoo!

As a hairdresser I am VERY scathing of dry shampoo and don’t endorse it on a regular basis, over used and not properly removed from the hair, it can cause your hair to become too built up of product and as a consequence, will become dry and can even lead to scalp conditions such as dandruff and even psoriasis. Like most things, used in moderation and correctly it can be perfect for keeping your hair looking fresher for longer while on a trip away. Only high quality dry shampoo should be used and the lighter weight, the vvbetter. I recommend Brush Works - Dry Shampoo, this amazing travel size dry shampoo is perfect for keeping your hair fresh whilst away and doesn’t take up any room or weight in your suitcase.

    Shampoo Bar!

Shampoo bars are gaining popularity with the awareness of plastic packaging and the effects on the environment, with minimal plastic packaging and just as effective as ‘normal’ shampoo, these are perfect for travelling.

    Waterproof Mascara!

Anyone and I mean anyone can apply mascara! You don’t need to be a pro to apply mascara and it makes the biggest difference, making us instantly feel better. The quality of a mascara, in my experience is usually proportionate to how much it costs. I have tried ‘cheap’ masacara, which is still crazily at least £7.00, I have bought it, got it home and found it to be dry and clumpy from day one, I vow only to buy top quality mascara from now on! Yes the Tom Ford Extreme Black may cost £38 but it lasts over 6 months and is AMAZING! The one I spent £7 on that time lasted a day, and was awful, so buy cheap, buy 10 times a year when it comes to mascara.

Iv found a Lancome Travel Size Mascara which is highly recommended.

    Silk Eye Mask

First rule of great skincare is to look at how your sleeping, or more importantly, what your sleeping in. A genuine Silk Eye Mask, will naturally lessen creasing and wrinkles in the skin while you sleep, plus it blocks out light meaning you get better quality and deeper sleep. A rested body is a youthful body!

    The Ultimate Travel Kit

Airlines are so strict now and making sure your compliant with baggage rules is important for making sure you don’t stung at the airport for size of your bags and weight. I LOVE this travel kit, it means I can keep everything compact and organised which takes the stress out of travelling, especially with kids!
